Class Notes

This week, we begin looking at web pages from the development point of view. This class introduces the client/server model, the language of web pages (HTML) and begins the first of several sets of exercises designed to build useful and instructional web pages on the World Wide Web.

For tonight's class, it will be helpful if you had a copy of the Netscape WWW browser (with the Netscape editor included). You can download a copy of the Netscape browser for your computer by clicking here or, if that link fails, by starting off at the main Netscape page.

In addition, we may be working with a few sample HTML documents.
