Syllabus
Course Description
This course is a continuation of Math 533 to the study of partial differential equations.
We will cover most of Chapters 5 and 6 of Evans's book, combined with selected
topics from either Chapter 7 or 12. In particular, we will discuss Sobolev spaces, existence and regularity theory for linear elliptic PDE, and either basic theory for linear parabolic/hyperbolic equations or some basic nonlinear PDE.
