Midterm 2 Information
Time: Tuesday, Oct. 18, 7PM-8:15PM (exam begins at 7:15, but please arrive at 7:00)

Subject: The exam covers sections 14.6-14.8 from Chapter 14, all of Chapter 13 and sections 16.1-16.3 of Chapter 16.
From section 13.3, the relevant material is the formula for arc length of a curve. From section 13.4, the relevant material is the relation of velocity, speed, and acceleration to the position function.
Any material that appeard on homework or on worksheets should be considered fair game.
Exam policy: No use of notes or electronic devices of any kind (including calculators, smartphones, or ipods) will be permitted. Students will not be permitted to leave the room and reenter during an exam. Please plan accordingly.

For Chapter 13, the relevant problems are Concept Check 1-5, True/False 1-4, 9, 10, 12, and Exercises 1-6, 8-10, 17, 18, 21.
For Chapter 14, the relevant problems are Concept Check 15-19, True/False 7, 10, 12, and Exercises 51-56, 59-66.
For Chapter 16, the relevant problems are Concept Check 1-6, 10, True/False 5-6, and Exercises 1(a), 2-14. - Do the end of chapter review problems for Chapters 13 , 14, and 16.
