2. THIS PART IS DUE MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10. BUT START WORKING ON IT NOW. Euclid shows how to carry out some constructions with compass and straightedge. Study the constructions in Propositions 1, 2, 9, 10, and 11 in Book I of Euclid's Elements. The nicest place to see these is by selecting ``Euclid's Elements With Movable Diagrams'' from the bottom of my web page for our class. Use a compass and straightedge to make a sketch of each of these five constructions.
3. Continue studying for Exam #2, Monday, November 10. The material will include everything from the previous exam through the end of Section 2.8 of Kay.
