Alberto Corso, instructor (sections 001-010).
Alberto is an associate professor of Mathematics and he is the director of undergraduate studies in the Department of Mathematics since 2016. He received his Ph.D. from Rutgers University in the area of Commutative Algebra and held postdoctoral positions at Purdue University and Michigan State University before moving to UK in 2001. He also held visiting positions at MSRI (Berkeley) and the University of Notre Dame. At the teaching level, in recent years he has been involved in redesigning College Algebra, MA109, and Elementary Calculus and Its Applications, MA123, as well as in developing a Calculus sequence for the Life Sciences, MA137 and MA138. Outside of Mathematics he is kept quite busy by Nina, his adorable labradoodle.

Nicholas Arsenault, teaching assistant (sections 001 and 002).
Nicholas is a second-year graduate student pursuing a PhD in mathematics at UK. He received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Aside from math, he enjoys spending time outside, primarily climbing in Kentucky's Red River Gorge, and reading fiction.

Katherine (Kat) Henneberger, teaching assistant (sections 003 and 004).
Kat is a second-year graduate student pursuing a PhD in mathematics at UK. She received a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and Hispanic studies from Bowdoin College. Outside of math, she enjoys yoga and rock climbing in her free time.

Faith Hensley, teaching assistant (sections 005 and 006).
Faith is a second-year graduate student pursuing a PhD in mathematics at UK. She received a Bachelor of Science from Marshall University in Huntington, WV in Pure & Applied Mathematics with minors in English & Spanish. Over the past year, prior to leading recitations for this class, she has led recitations at UK for MA 110: Algebra and Trigonometry for Calculus and MA 123: Elementary Calculus and co-taught MA 162: Finite Math. Karen Reed, teaching assistant (sections 009 and 010).
Karen is a second-year graduate student pursuing a PhD in mathematics at UK. She received a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Mount Holyoke College, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Mathematics from Smith College. She has been a TA for Elementary Calculus and Its Applications (MA123) and Algebra and Trig for Calculus (MA110); she was also a co-instructor for Finite Math and Its Applications (MA162). In her spare time, she enjoys learning about the local flora & fauna and pampering her houseplants.
