There will be three midterm exams and a final exam.
Each exam is worth 100 points.
You must bring a photo ID to each exam
and you may use a scientific calculator on the exams.
Absolutely no cell phone use during an exam is allowed.
The Final Exam will be comprehensive.
Exams 1-3 are scheduled in room 213
of the Kastle Hall (KAS 213).
The Final Exam will take place in room 220
of the Multidisciplinary Science Building (MDS 220).
Exam 1: 5:00-7:00 pm, September 18 (Tuesday), 2018.
Covers Chapters 6 and 7. (Namely: Sections 6.3, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4)
Exam 2: 5:00-7:00 pm, October 16 (Tuesday), 2018.
Covers Chapters 8 and 9 (Namely: Sections 8.1, 8.2, 9.1, 9.2, and 9.3)
Exam 3: 5:00-7:00 pm, November 13 (Tuesday), 2018.
Covers Chapters 10, 11, and the least squares section.
(Namely: Sections 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 11.1, 11.2, and the least squares section)
Final Exam: 6:00-8:00 pm, December 13 (Thursday), 2018.
Comprehensive (covers all Chapters: all previous sections and, in addition,
11.1, 11.2, 11.3, and 11.4).
Review sessions will be held on Monday Sept 17 and Oct 15
in room CB 234 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
A review session before the Third Exam will be held on Monday, Nov 12,
in room CB 219 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
A review session before the Final Exam will be held on Wednesday, Dec 12,
in room CB 234 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Students who have university excused absences or who have
university-scheduled class conflicts
with uniform examinations may take an Alternate Exam.
You must fill out the Alternate Exam
Request Form and submit it to your instructor at least two weeks
before the scheduled exam.
