Abstract:
Perfect matchings of grid graphs correspond directly to domino tilings
of rectangular boards. Such matchings also provide us with perfect
matching polytopes. In this talk I will discuss this correspondance
and some properties of the resulting perfect matching polytopes as
they are presented by Beck, Haase, and Sam in their paper "Grid
Graphs, Gorenstein Polytopes, and Domino Stackings."
