Catalan Numbers and q-analogs

Abstract: We will consider the Catalan Numbers and the q-analogs of these. Of particular interest are combinatorial interpretations as well as their recurrence relations and generating functions. If time permits we wil also take a look at the statistics maj and inv and how they relate to the total positivity conjecture.
