I've been involed in a variety of classes at University of Kentucky. In my first two years, I largely held recitations for introductory courses. Since 2020, I've mostly been an instructor of record or pursued more complex teaching assignments.
After trying a specifications-based grading course as a student, I wanted to find out more about alternative grading styles and how these could help our students succeed. Most recently, my geometry and college algebra courses used specifications and standards based grading respectively. In 2023, I won an Oustanding TA Award from the College of Arts and Sciences at University of Kentucky.
