Hi, my name is Samir Donmazov, and I am a PhD candidate in Mathematics at the University of Kentucky. My interests lie in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, focusing on Nonlinear PDEs, Inverse Scattering, and Asymptotics Analysis. Currently, I am researching "Large-Time Asymptotics of Solutions to the KP I Equation using the Method of Inverse Scattering," under the guidance of Dr. Peter Perry (doctoral advisor), in collaboration with Dr. Jiaqi Liu from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. Our work has produced promising results.
I earned my BSc degree in Astronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in Turkey. Subsequently, I pursued my MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering at Koc University. In 2016, I moved to the USA to pursue my doctoral studies. I currently hold MSc degrees in both Physics and Mathematics from the University of Kentucky.
